The XII South American Bird Fair will be held in Mindo, Ecuador in October of 2023 and is considered the most important birding event on the continent. It’s organized by the World Birdfair Council and is a great place to meet fellow birders. There are lectures, workshops and seminars on a variety of topics related to birding. The fair is also a great opportunity to purchase binoculars, cameras and other birding equipment.
